Delete your BaristaMatch account
BaristaMatch is operated by BaristaMatch LLC. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data without reinstalling the app.
Delete from the app
Sign in, open Account Settings, find Delete Account, and follow the confirmation steps. This is permanent, not a temporary deactivation.
Request deletion without the app
Email our support team from the email address associated with your BaristaMatch account. Include the subject BaristaMatch account deletion request and confirm that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.
Request account deletion by email
No email app configured? Send the request using your email provider to hello@baristajobmatch.com, or use our support form and choose an account-related request.
We verify account ownership before acting and confirm when deletion is completed. An email request does not instantly delete your account. We will explain any additional verification or retention requirements.
Never send your password, verification codes, government identification numbers or payment-card details. For Sign in with Apple, mention that you used Apple and provide your account email if you know it; support can help verify your request.
Accounts using Sign in with Apple
For accounts without a retained Apple authorization token, we still delete the BaristaMatch account and then provide instructions to disconnect Sign in with Apple. Automatic Apple revocation is not claimed. You do not need to disconnect Apple before requesting deletion.
What deletion covers
Deletion covers your account, profile, private demographic record, jobs, applications, matches, messages, notification registrations and uploaded profile media associated with the account. Limited records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies may persist until overwritten under normal backup schedules. Café subscriptions: if you have a paid subscription, include this in your request so support can review cancellation and any records that must be retained. Uninstalling the app alone does not cancel a subscription or delete an account.
